What are Moemon?
Moemon are anthropomorphized pokemon that typically take the form of cosplaying girls. Moemon is a mash-up of the Japanese words’moe,’ which could mean cute, fetish, or budding (as in growth).
The first moemon project began with Pokemon ROM hacking, in which Japanese hackers replaced all of the in-game Pokemon sprites with chibi girls dressed in Pokemon costumes. English-speaking internet users have since worked on it.
