Pokemon Emerald Kaizo is a super-hard version of Pokemon Emerald inspired by Firered Omega and Pokemon Stadium, with additional features such as legendary pokemon events and postgame content. This version allows you to catch all 386 Pokemon, but in order to do so, you must first beat the game, and this one pulls out all the stops. How difficult is it? People say nuzlocking and high-level gaps are difficult; this one is completely unforgiving of misclicks, misplays, and other errors, and there is enough enemy variety to be overwhelming to casual Emerald Kaizo players. This game also becomes progressively more difficult as it progresses, as opposed to the majority of hacks and all Pokemon games, where the hardest point in the game is the early game.

Also, nuzlocking the elite four in Emerald Kaizo may be impossible unless you have explicit knowledge of the elite four roster and great luck in acquiring specific pokemon to counter 5 powerful teams, and keep in mind that you can only use held items in battles.

This is a very imposing super hard mode hack, but as I have playtested, it is not impossible to beat, and I even tested to see if the Pokemon League, the most critically difficult point to nuzlocke, can be nuzlocked, and it is possible, but I advise to actually practise with the game before attempting to nuzlocke it, because I will not release the details on how I no-deathed the Pokemon League. But don’t let that fool you; the Pokemon League is genuinely difficult to complete without dying, and it took me several tries to find a consistent no-death pattern.
