Pokemon Lilac is a GBA Rom Hack based on Pokemon Fire Red.

Story

It’s taken a long time, but you’re finally ready to embark on a Pokemon adventure across your home region. When your mother informs you that Professor Oak is investigating the nearby Haplon Cave system, you’re all set to receive your Pokemon from Professor Oak in a larger neighbouring town. A small earthquake shakes the earth around you as you arrive at the caves, and a local hiker insists that the fleeing Pokemon demonstrate that it is too dangerous to proceed. When everything has calmed down, you are given the all-clear signal and allowed to proceed to the next town. Inside the cave, you meet a determined Professor Oak who is spying on a suspicious character further into the cave.

The man is none other than a member of the nefarious Team Rocket, which was thought to have disbanded three years ago under Giovanni’s leadership. Why is Team Rocket rummaging through a small cave in Lowen? Why is a shady character following your every move? Why is your rival so enraged at you, despite the fact that you’ve been friendly for many years?

The life of a rookie can be a tough one…
