Pokemon Ultra Violet is a GBA Rom Hack based on Pokemon Fire Red.

“I was never a big fan of games where you couldn’t get everything by yourself.” I am a total er, so I always want to get EVERYTHING. Pokemon games are designed in such a way that you must either trade or buy and play multiple games in order to obtain everything. This did not sit well with me…

So I combined Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, resulting in ALL of the pokemon from the first two generations (I only needed to add a few Generation 2 Pokemon that were not in either of the games)

That, however, was insufficient because you were still unable to complete the Pokedex…

So I created a new Island… You must speak with the girl in the southernmost house in Virmillion City in order to get to the island. 4-Points Isle is a new island that houses ALL gen 3 pokemon… There are a number of new events and areas to discover.

Other changes have occurred… You might come across them. They’re there to help you get through the game; getting all of the Pokemon can be difficult, if not impossible, if you don’t have the right items… How can you evolve your Sunkurn, for example, if you don’t have any Sun Stones?” -LocksmithArmy
